- When does it ship?
- The macOS version comes first, followed by Windows. I'd rather give you a real date than an optimistic one, so join the list and you'll get the announcement the day it's ready.
- Is it really a one-time payment?
- Yes. $10 buys the app and every future update. There is no subscription tier, no seat count, and no feature held back for a "pro" plan.
- Does one licence cover both platforms?
- It does. Buy once and use it on macOS and Windows — most people have both a work machine and a personal one, and charging twice for that is annoying.
- Do I have to use the cloud sharing?
- No. Cloud upload is optional and can stay switched off permanently. Everything else — capture, editing, annotation, OCR, export — works entirely offline on your machine.
- What happens to my screenshots if I do upload them?
- They're stored behind signed links that only people you share with can open, and you can delete any upload at any time. Nothing is uploaded unless you explicitly choose to share it.
- How is this different from the screenshot tool built into my OS?
- The built-in tools capture well and stop there. The work of making a capture presentable — backgrounds, framing, annotation, a shareable link — is what you'd otherwise do by hand in an image editor.
